Masbate Cathedral was formally known as the Cathedral Parish of Saint Anthony of Padua. The church is located at Quezon St, Masbate city and it is a Roman Catholic Church and it is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Masbate. The Church was founded by Spanish missionaries in 1578, and if you enjoy old architectures then you should surely visit this place.

Being recognized as the rodeo capital of the country, there are bound to be some cattle ranches right? Of course there are. If you go to the province during the rodeo festival some of the ranchers there offer tours to some of their ranches and you will experience the cowboy lifestyle like riding horses and feeding cattle. Pawa Mangrove Nature Park is 300 hectare park is arguably the city’s biggest area of natural mangrove growth; it is one of the more popular places in the province because it offers a rich and relaxing tour of the place that will make any stressed out person calmer and more appreciative about life. Good places to bring your family just don’t forget your sun blocks because you’ll be walking a lot.
Buntod Sandbar is just near the city of Masbate and this place is a 251 hectare gorgeous reef marine sanctuary that has white sand and a mangrove forest. This place is also awarded as the Para El Mar Best Marine Sanctuary by the Marine Science Network. You can swim on the gorgeous beach or you could snorkel and see the province’s rich marine life and you could also paddle small boats or kayak in the place.
Catandayagan Falls is located in Monreal, Masbate, Ticao Island; one of the three major islands that makes up of the province of Masbate. It is one of the most popular places that tourists visit in the island of Ticao wherein the water drops from a whopping 60 feet into a pool of cool and clear water. A very lovely place to see if you are ever in Masbate.
