The archipelago province of Romblon is located in the Mimaropa region of the country of the Philippines. This province is made out of multiple islands including Tablas, Banton, Corcuera, Sibuyan, Concepcion, San Jose, and its capital Romblon and yes it is also named Romblon. The province is also considered as The Marble Capital of the Philippines because as the title implies, marble is the main product of the province.
Romblon has several beaches due to it being an archipelago and that attracts a lot of tourist activity, there are also scenic mountains and rivers that you can see if you are in the province. We will list some of the places that you may want to see if you managed to go to Romblon.

Marble Shopping Center is located in Romblon, Romblon. So let us start our list with a place where you can buy the main product of the province – marble. You can buy a lot of different marble products here from small souvenirs, knick-knacks, plates, vases, to large size statues that are skillfully handcrafted by the local artisans. Buy something that you will be able to take home with you.

These two Spanish twin fortresses were constructed between 1573 and 1644. They are made out of coral blocks and bricks architecture buffs will love these fortresses. The forts overlook the whole town and beach to the sea and have served as both watch tower and sanctuary of the locals against Dutch Pirates.
Tiamban Beach is located just exactly 5 kilometers from the town of Romblon and this is one of the best beaches in the province. This is a perfect place to go to if you just want to get away and just relax. The beach has lovely white sand, clear waters and the best part of it is that it is quite secluded. Bring your friends and family here for some much deserved R&R.
Catingas River is located in Sibuyan Island just situated 3 kilometers away from the town of San Fernando. The river is heralded by a lot of Filipinos as the cleanest river that can be found in the Philippines. The river is clear and cold and there are jump boards for you daredevil types out there. The place is also picturesque and gorgeous the river is surrounded by mountains and trees making you feel like you are in the wilderness.
Aglicay Beach Resort is located just south of the town of Alcantara in Tablas and it is closest to the airport so there are also a lot of local tourists and others that are from around the world that is relaxing in the area, very beautiful resorts and is quite secluded. The fee to the resort is 100 pesos per person.

Looc Fish Sanctuary is also located in Tablas. This place is a protected marine sanctuary. It hosts hundreds of different marine and aquatic life and species, from corals, fishes, clams, turtles and lobsters. One of the most popular place to visit because you can snorkel, swim and feed the fishes here; you and your family will find this sanctuary a good time.
Dagubdub Falls is also located in Sibuyan Island. This place consists of four gorgeous waterfalls that are stunning to behold with its cool and clear waters that you will fall in love with. The place also offers cliff diving for the thrill seekers and the surrounding area have the famous pitcher plants a carnivorous plant that eats insects, so be glad we are not insects.
