Camrines Norte is not as well known as a tourist spot unlike its neighboring provinces like Camarines Sur and Albay as these places gets advertised and promoted a lot. But still Camarines Norte is one hell of a beautiful province that is located in the region of Bicol in Luzon Island. The main produce that the province is very known for in the country is their sweet pineapples. Camarines Norte has a lot to offer if you decided to visit the province such as very gorgeous waterfalls, forested mountains, and rivers. If you’re not into that then there are old churches, water parks and resorts and a lot more. We will list some of the places that you should go to whenever you’re in Camarines Norte.

As the name implies the islands are located in Mercedes, Camarines Norte. There are seven islands in total and they are Apuao Grande, Apuao Pequeña, Canimog, Canton, Caringo, Malasungi and Quinapaguian. So if you want to hang out in the sun, this place should get you all hyped up, because all of the islands have white sands that is bright in the eyes and crystal clear waters. Some of the islands have marine sanctuaries, ruins, a lighthouse and bat sanctuaries.
Maculabo Island is located in Calaguas Group of Islands, and yes there are a lot of pretty islands in the province and you can’t go wrong with a lot of them. There are residents in the island that thrive mainly on fishing and farming. There is also a long stretch of fine white sand beach that one can hang out in but be sure to swim with cautious because the waters in gradually sloping sand goes very deep fast.
This amazing waterfall is located in San Lorenzo Ruiz. It is a gorgeous falls that is 60-foot high and has a clear and cold waters. This place is also surrounded by a lot of trees making you feel like you are all alone in the world. Visiting the falls is a very exciting adventure because you have to ride a zip line to reach the next mountain, or you could go old school and just hike to the falls.
Cadig Cave – This Cave is one of the more promoted tourists spots in the province, locate in Labo, Camarines Norte this Cave is situated at the foot of a mountain that is in a deep forest. To get to the cave you will have to trek for two hours and while trekking you will pass a lot of sceneries such as agricultural fields and forests. The adventure to the cave is a treat to itself, the cave is also magnificent to behold.
Paradiso Verde Organic Farm and Resort is a very family friendly place where you can bring your friends and family just to have a fun time. The resort is located in Barangay Malasungi in Labo. There are various pools that both the children and the adults will absolutely enjoy. There is also a Jacuzzi so that is a big plus. The resort also offers wall climbing, rappelling and other different obstacle courses.
Pineapple Island Resort is one of the more popular tourist spots in the province. This place is a premiere water resort that is a 5 hectares eco-tourism property that has different kinds of pool that you and your family will surely be excited about. They also have an in-house restaurant that serves quality and delicious Filipino delicacies.

Saint John the Baptist Church is a Roman Catholic church that is 400 years old and it is also considered as one of the oldest churches in the country. This church is located in Daet and is a good place to visit if you enjoy some old architecture. The church was built on 1611 and was damaged by a fire in 2012, but the church is now restored and looking as good as ever.
