Pangsinan is situated in the western part of Luzon and it is also one of the biggest province in the island of Luzon. The name of the province means “place of salt” or “place of salt-making”. Pangasinan is just four hours away from Manila and it is home to some of the country’s most beautiful beaches, waterfalls and islands. If you are already in Manila then why not go to Pangasinan to enjoy some fine beaches without leaving the same island. We will list some of the places that you may want to visit when you’re in the province.

Cabongaoan Beach is located in Burgos and it is just 30 minutes away from Alaminos. This beach will make you fall in love with its deep blue waters and wonderful rock formations. But the real draw to the beach is the Death Pool. No, it’s not the Marvel character but a natural pool that is located at the far right of the beach.

This is one of the many beautiful beaches that the province of Pangasinan has to offer its visitors. The beach has clear and cool water, fine sand and long seashore to wander around to. The beach has picnic huts, bathhouses, and camping grounds that you can rent while you are in the beach. A good place to go to if you want to beat the heat.
If you want to unwind and relax in the ocean this is a good place to start. The beach’s sand turn to gold once the sun starts to set. The water is clear and very refreshing to bathe in. There is no entrance fee to the beach but you need to find yourself somewhere to stay at. There is a camping fee of 100 to 200 pesos and you can also rent a cottage for 300 to 700 pesos.

The Hundred Island National Park is located in Alaminos and it is a protected area. The islands number is 124 when low tide and 123 when the tide is high. All of the islands harbor white sand beaches and many caves that you can go to, this beautiful place is a very ideal getaway when you’re very stressed out and want to get some rest and relaxation.
The Enchanted Cave is located in Bolinao, Pangasinan. This place is a beautiful underground natural pool that is filled with corals has clean and very clear water that is covered with a bunch of ancient rocks. The entrance to the cave is 150 pesos, but rest assured that will be worth it once you stumbled in the place and had a very enchanting time.

Mount Balungao is an extinct volcano that is located in the province. This is located in the town of Balungao. The mountain is a popular trekking and hiking spot among the locals and tourists alike, if you want to have a peaceful and meditative experience climb this mountain. Plus the scenic view while climbing it is worth it.
Baliwangga Falls is very picturesque with its cascading water at a very tall height and it is very beautiful to see and experience with friends and family. The waterfall is located in Barangay Ranao and is just seven minutes away from Ranao Elementary School.
